On June 17, 2005, Mr. Alderman was contacted by Cox Broadcasting in Washington, DC to provide expert commentary on the impending Supreme Court decision in MGM v. Grokster.

An excerpt of this interview was broadcast during the daily news on June 27, 2005 in San Francisco by the Fox Affiliate, KTVU. Mr. Alderman was quoted as saying that an unqualified decision against Grokster and StreamCast would stifle technology, be detrimental to users, and would generally be problematic in balancing the rights of creators and users.
